10,000 Reasons is Camp Northward's capital campaign. We are fundraising over the course of the next three years. The goal is to raise one million dollars. This amount will secure us a loan to break ground on the next phase of the camp's expansion.

Camp Northward has been incredibly blessed in the fundraising process for this capital campaign so far. As of fall 2022, we have raised over $70,000. We cannot say thank you enough.
WHAT IS GIVEBUTTER?
Givebutter is the fundraising platform Camp Northward is using for this campaign. It is completely free for the camp to use, including expert advice, tracking and end of year reporting.
It also comes with some helpful sharing features. For instance, we are able to offer donors the option to give via text. So easy! We have this shareable QR code that will take individuals to our giving site, which makes it perfect for sharing. Go ahead - try scanning it with your phone!
FAQ: DOES IT COST TO GIVE VIA GIVEBUTTER?
In a word, no.
Longer answer: there are two times that the GB site will ask a donor for a fee. These are both optional fees that can be disabled. One is a processing fee. The other is a "tip".
Fee: this is a credit card processing charge similar to what small business and other entities like PayPal or Venmo require – it’s part of the cost of doing business, ad it typically a minimal charge. In the case of a five dollar donation, the fee is 46 cents. Givebutter has set it up, however, to remove the fee if a donor wishes.
Tip: the “tip” is an option that most fundraising sites (like Kiva, for example) use. Givebutter generously allows nonprofits to use all their fundraising tools for FREE! This saves Camp Northward hundreds of dollars a year compared to a similar fundraising source. “Tipping” Givebutter is simply a small act of generosity for the site allowing us to use it for free. Giving to that fund is also optional, and is comparable to supporting a site like Wikipedia for giving free information or tipping a waiter/waitress that does a great job. It is an act of gratefulness but never required.

You've heard the song, right? "Bless the Lord, oh my soul, oh my soul..."
We have so many reasons to be thankful to God for the work that has already been done at Camp Northward and church camps all over the world. We want to approach this campaign with that air of thankfulness and focus on what is most important: God's glory. This title was chosen intentionally through much prayer and preparation.
