Senior Saints 2024

This free event (registration required) is for those 55 and older who love the ministry of camp. The program will include music from Mike Goodwin, a message from Sammy Harris, a camp update from Nathan Derico, fellowship, singing, and a chance to give toward the ministry of Camp Northward.

The meal this year will be fried chicken, mashed potatoes & gravy, green beans, rolls, salad, & dessert. Please register with us by filling our the form at the bottom of this page.

Sammy Harris
Sammy Harris, a Kentucky native from Fleming County holds a BS degree from Kentucky Christian University as well as a MA in Christian Leadership. He has served churches in KY since he was 18 years old which include: Tilton, Indian Creek, Williamstown, and Gardenside Christian Churches. Sammy has been at Leesburg Christian Church since 2002. He has served on numerous boards and advisory positions throughout his adult life and has led building projects in each ministry he has participated. As an outdoor enthusiast he enjoys hunting, fishing, golfing, and weight lifting. His favorite Bible verses are Ephesians 2:8-10 and he sees everyday as gift from God.

Mike Goodwin
Mike Goodwin is currently the worship leader at Central Christian Church in Cynthiana, Kentucky. He has been married for 46 years, and has been blessed with two daughters and four grandchildren. Mike gave his life to the Lord at the age of 21, and soon after started singing in a gospel quartet. He has been involved with several gospel groups over the years. The last twenty years, he has concentrated on a solo ministry and has led worship at three churches. Mike says, "God has blessed me and my family. I am honored to help spread the Gospel through singing His word in song."
