Expanding The Vision
The goal is to raise one million dollars in the next three years. There are two buildings that are necessities to our continued growth and ministry.
The first is a Kitchen & Office Addition. We currently have no kitchen facility on campus. We are catering all of our meals during the summer. As you can imagine, that is a challenge! This addition to our pavilion will also include a nurse's station, sick rooms, conference room, laundry facilities, storage, and a weather safety area. This addition will allow us to provide a better experience for our campers, enabling us to better encourage, strengthen, and equip individuals for personal growth and a relationship with Jesus Christ. The second building is a new dormitory. Our current dormitory was completed in 2017. It has 56 beds, accommodating 46 campers and 10 adults
during a main session during the summer.
God is blessing Camp Northward with increasing camper numbers and we are rapidly running out of room. We are beginning to have to turn potential campers away.
We don't ever want to turn a young person away from the life-changing
experience of Christian Camping because we don't have enough room!
Thankfully, plans were put in place when the first dorm was built for a second dorm. We already have a location for the new dorm, and our septic
system was sized with a second dormitory in mind.
A new dormitory will at least double our camper capacity, allowing us to grow our summer ministry by hundreds of campers in coming years.

WHY "10,000 REASONS"?
You've heard the song, right? "Bless the Lord, oh my soul, oh my soul..."
We have so many reasons to be thankful to God for the work that has already been done at Camp Northward and church camps all over the world. We want to approach this campaign with that air of thankfulness and focus on what is most important: God's glory.
We wish that this project always stay focused on the glory of God and the advancement of His Kingdom. Our desire is that the Camp Northward community will find 10,000 true reasons “for our hearts to sing”; in other words, to praise Him for all the work He has done at Camp Northward thus far. Likewise, we pray that the camp will continue to last for a long time to come, that it serves multitudes of individuals and fosters their spiritual growth. We pray that Camp Northward, and more to the point the spiritual discipline that Christian camps bring into lives, may last “10,000 years and then forevermore”. In this way we celebrate and honor Camp Northward’s rich history while looking toward the future with excitement and optimism.
Progress
Since our official move to our new campus in 2018, a lot of progress has been made toward seeing the Kitchen & Office Addition become reality. The money that has been raised has been spent in the following ways:
1. In 2023 a major project was undertaken to revamp the front of our property. This project included creating a new entrance off of Broadford Road and leveling off a large section of the hill at the front of the property. This project created a much safer entrance and exit to Broadford Road, more parking, more flat area for campers to use near the Pavilion, and it prepared the site for the Kitchen & Office Addition to be added to the Pavilion.
2. In 2024 we hired an architect to produce initial floor plans and an artist rendering of the Kitchen & Office Addition for promotional purposes and taking the first step in procuring a full set of architectural plans.
3. In 2025 we hired a fundraising consultant to help us with the relaunch of our 10,000 Reasons, Expanding the Vision, Campaign.
