2025 Summer Missionary
Each year Camp Northward partners with a missionary. Our summer missionary connects with campers to help them understand how God is using them to help others know and love Jesus. They also help campers to understand how God can use them to help the Kingdom of God grow locally and globally. Camp Northward donates $5 of every camper registration to our summer missionary to help cover their basis costs of serving us throughout the summer.

The goal of Pioneer Bible Translators isn’t just translation, but transformation. We bring people to Jesus through Bible translation and church planting, combined with discipleship, incarnational ministry, and the use of translated Scripture.

The word “Pioneer” reflects our commitment to translating the Bible and planting churches among the world’s least-reached people groups. Our primary focus is on the most challenging language groups — those who are marginalized, those who live in hard-to-access places, and those who are Deaf.

Because we specialize in both Bible translation and church planting, Pioneer Bible Translators is uniquely positioned to reach language groups who still have no church and no Scripture.
